What is Sage 300 ERP and who can use it?
Sage 300 ERP is a Modular Program using Microsoft SQL Server.  It can also run on:
1.         MS Pervasive SQL, and
2.       Oracle Operating Engine
And it is suggested to those company whose Revenue is more than half Million.
How to save files? How many data bases are there?
Before creating company to work with; first data bases are installed.  And for Backup and Restore company and system files; there are:
1.        Database Load,  and
2.       Data Base Dump tools
System Data Files are known from – XXXSYS
Company Data Files known from – XXXDAT
As program allows to keep six Capital Letter,
3 for company and e.g. YNCDAT
3 for System or Data e.g. YNCSYS
What information is stored in:
1.         System Database?
2.        Company Database?
1.        Users Information, Passwords, Security Settings and Currency.
2.       All accounting applications/modules entered information for a single company (GL, AP, AR, BS,
Do we need to create folder in MS Windows Explorer?
Yes, in order to contain Sage 300 ERP System and company databases.
